Story of Lost Ruins

Intro

The mysterious jungle of Shendi is suffused with an eerie aura. The dense treetops allow little light to penetrate, leaving the forest floor in a dim, twilight gloom. Thick fog clings low between the trees, and the air is humid and heavy, filled with the intense scent of earth and decay. The sounds of the jungle are all around: the rustling of leaves, the distant roar of an unknown beast, the buzzing of insects that suddenly fall silent, as if something menacing is nearby.

The vegetation is wild and impenetrable, with massive vines hanging from the trees like snakes, and exotic plants whose vibrant colors exude a dangerous allure. Some trees appear ancient, their trunks gnarled and weathered, as if they have witnessed ages long past. The ground is covered in thick layers of decaying leaves, where unseen creatures move quietly.

Time and again, you encounter strange, overgrown ruins that seem like remnants of a long-forgotten civilization. Their stone structures are overrun with moss and ivy, and dark, deep passages carved into the rock seem to lead to nowhere. An unsettling silence emanates from these places, as if even nature itself avoids them.

Over everything lies a sense of foreboding, as if the jungle itself were alive, watchful and intent on consuming intruders. Here, time seems to stand still, and you feel constantly observed, as if invisible eyes are tracking your every move. Every step could be your last in this eerie, living labyrinth of plants, shadows, and secrets...

The Inhabitants of Shendi

In the jungle of Schendi live wild panther girls, dangerous mambas, and fearless outlaws. Danger is ever-present! Nevertheless, at the edge of the rainforest, the civilized world has also found a place. There, you will find the peaceful inhabitants of the village of Nyoka, as well as a tavern deep in the jungle where the traders of Schendi regularly meet to exchange all kinds of goods in a safe environment.

Here, the different groups of Schendi will be described in more detail:

1. Sa Me Arquana Panther

The panther girls are a seductive yet dangerous sisterhood living deep in the jungles of Schendi. Their beauty is as striking as their wildness—they exude an untamed grace that captivates anyone who crosses their path. But behind this alluring facade lies a deadly danger: these fierce women are relentless in their pursuit of freedom and are ready to overpower any man who dares to enter their domain. In secret moonlit nights, when they give themselves over to ecstatic dances of the night, they unleash their deepest instincts. Few men have dared to come close, and even fewer have survived...

2. Lost Ruins Outlaws

The Lost Ruins Outlaws live in a well-fortified castle, which is very difficult to conquer. They once made a name for themselves as slavers, and every panther girl must be careful not to fall into their clutches. However, despite being considered outlaws in Gor, they are generally honorable. Among their ranks are brave men and women, and their passion lies in combat. They do not place value on humiliating their captives. They hunt all the "wild ones" of the jungle, but offer friendship—or at least respect—to warriors of the red caste and fellow outlaws.

3. Black Skull Mambas

The Mambas are among the most feared peoples in all of Gor. A small population has survived in a well-hidden cave in the jungle of Schendi. Anyone who encounters the Mambas must prepare for the worst. The fear of this mysterious people led to a relentless hunt for them, but there are still a few Mambas left, and every Gorean should be on their guard around them.

4. Port Nyoka

The small, idyllic village of "Port Nyoka" is located right next to the jungle of Schendi. It consists of charming little houses and an inn with accommodations for overnight stays. The villagers primarily make their living through trade. There is a tailor's shop and a sewing room where beautiful Gorean clothing and fabrics are crafted. Every Thursday, a class for slaves and free people is held in the inn, led by the highly respected citizen Anastisti. Additionally, there is a healing house and a farmhouse with direct access to the forest, where fresh farm goods are sold. A magistrate and scribe are available to provide information and assistance on all matters. The village also has a bank, a slave house, and another healing house. At the heart of the village stands the bathhouse. Port Nyoka is a member of the "Southern Trade Alliance" and welcomes guests and new peaceful residents who wish to join the village community.
